No ja, na slikcah ni nič takega, kar se ne bi učili na srednji oblikovalsko fotografski šoli. Poze so klišejske, tisočkrat preverjene, scenski oz. fotomontažni prijemi prav tako. Etika fotografovega dela pa s slik ni razvidna, kakšna je, ve najbolj on sam in njegovi modeli, seveda. Zato mislim, da ni nobenih ovir, da tudi tisti, ki si kupi opremo za 500 evrov in mu ne manjka kreativnosti, lahko naredi sijajne predstavitvene fotografije. Celo brezplačno.

Resnici na ljubo je pa Aljoša za razliko od nekaterih wannabe fotografov, res odličlen modni fotograf. Tako da boljše, da grejo punce k njemu kot pa da se zastonj slačijo pri kakem iztirjenccu, ki si je slučajno ukupil digitalca za milijon, in jim obljublja, da bo naredil zvezde iz njih. Tako, da ne boste rekli, da sam šimfam. :)

Oglas je vedno samo oglas, tudi če je zapakiran v obliko objektivnih informacij, tudi če promovira delno zastonjkarstvo ali namenjanje določenega odstotka sredstev v humanitarne namene, tudi če deluje po principu plačaš dva, dobiš tri, ali pa je podkrepljen s slikicami "prej in potem" ali pričevanji resničnih oseb, ki govorijo v njegov prid. Še posebej zadnja dva načina sta najbolj neumna v oglaševanju. Prikrito oglaševanje v obliki nekakšnih kvazi člankov, pa si sploh zasluži svojevrstno obravnavo. Neumno je pričakovati, da bo ciljno občinstvo ob tem ostalo tiho ali pa zgolj pisalo hvalnice naročniku oglasa. To je demokracija. In sestavni del oglaševalske posla, ane tržniki? Potrošniki pa imajo pravico do objektivnih informacij in oznake "plačano PR sporočilo" vedno in povsod. Tudi na tem portalu, saj za njim vendar stoji pravna oseba, ki ima od tega profit, ne pa kak zdolgočasen dijak, ki mal za hec kraca po spletu.

Ce dobro preberes tekst lahko vidis, da bo prvih 50 perspektivnih modelov delezno zastonj fotkanja. Tudi sama nisem za slike nic placala, pa sem nad njimi navdusena :-)
Kar se tice visine, konfekcijske st. itd. Seveda je dobro, da imas postavo kot Adriana Lima. Ampak cetudi je nimas, imas pa lep, fotogenicen obraz, to ne predstavlja omejitve pri delu (foto)modela. Tako da - kar pogumno ;-)
P.S. In ne, ni potrebno oz. sploh zazeljeno spati s komerkoli. Ker s tem izgubis njegovo spostovanje in mogoce celo delo. Je pa odlocitev seveda tvoja

Prvo pravilo: pred uporabo copy-paste funkcije, obvezno preberi kaj sploh kopiraš.
Zadnji odstavek 'Česa se morate izogibati': "You want to avoid paying a photographer hundreds of dollars to create a portfolio that you really don't need to start. It's nice, and looks professional, to have book to show prospective agencies, but not required."
Mal kontradiktorno z vašo veliko oglaševalsko potezo, se vam ne zdi? Je pa good point. Da postaneš model v bistvu res ne rabiš imet booka nobenega fotografa. :)

Če se že greste neko hudo oglaševanje, se vsaj potrudite svoje mega informacije prevest v slovenščino. Potencialne kandidatke za fotomodele niso vse tako dobro podkovane v angleščini. Potem pa delajo napake. Ki jih pripeljejo do... zbrisanega posta.
Mimogrede, konfekcijska številka 34 oz. 36 je podatek, ki JE točen. Brez tega sploh ne bodo dobile posla. Sam fotografov to ne zanima, važno da bejbike plačajo stroške izdelave booka, manekenske tečaje itd. pa četudi ne bodo nikoli kak top model, ampak kvečjemu hostese na kakem sejmu. To je realnost. Lahko jo pobrišete. Bo pa vseeno obstajala. :) Aja, pa kaj za boga pomeni besedna zveza "uredite si princesko"??

STEP 4: Once an agency has called to meet with you, look your best and bring any recent photo's you might have. Do NOT wear a lot of make-up, jewelry, perfume or cologne. Choose an outfit that flatters your figure and look sharp! At this point it is still okay that you do not have a portfolio or marketing card. IF however, you do have a card or portfolio, please bring these to the interview. If you have attended a modeling school---it is possible they have helped you attain these tools. Don't forget--that if you already have these tools--an AGENT can reject it--and advise you to test again. They insist b/c they want you "marketed" the way that will get you HIRED by a client! (Both of you are in this to make money). Are YOU a moneymaker for a model & talent agency?

STEP 3: Once you have narrowed down the exact agencies you want to approach, you will need to take some photos with you to OPEN CALL. Take some snapshots or Polaroid's (clear and color only) and bring them with you or snail mail 4-6 shots of you: Headshot, smiling, and a few body shots. Include a cover letter, ALL your stats, FEMALES: (HT, WT, AGE, SIZE, SHOE SIZE, HAIR & EYE COLOR and Bust, Waist, Hip Measurements--if you know them) For MEN: Stats include (HT, WT, AGE, JACKET SIZE, NECK, SLEEVE, WAIST and INSEAM) Please include your telephone number and email address--some agents use this method now! (WE DO) You can ask the agency if they accept PICS via email--some do. (WE DON'T) Don't forget that Self Addressed Stamped Envelope! This is how agents reply! Expect a return letter or a phone call 2-6 weeks after submitting. This is called "marketing yourself" so don't forget to make your snail mail package as professional as possible. Send your package: ATTENTION NEW FACES.

STEP 2: Once you have determined what your "category" is -- now it is time to get the phone book and start calling. BE AWARE of newspaper ads--AGENTS do not advertise this way. Call all the agencies listed in your city or the next largest city to you. Ask them what is the age and HT requirement for their fashion print or commercial print division. You can also search the Internet for a directory.
**MOST AGENCIES ask that you SNAIL MAIL 4 snapshots with your stats and phone number. If a modeling "company" asks to meet you in person without pre-screening you, 100% possibility they will "sell you a program" and they are NOT an agency. You can ask on the phone--if they are a licensed talent agency, if they say yes--you will have two options: MAIL PICS or ATTEND OPEN CALL. Open call is a specific DAY & TIME when new faces can come to the agency for a free, 5-minute critique and consultation. Many agencies have Open Call -- so ask them for details. However, you can only attend OPEN CALL if you meet their age and Height requirements. Most children agencies do not have OPEN CALL.
